Hello all, So I am getting ready to join the industry in Los Angeles. I will be leaving my comfort zone of Santa Barbara and begin a new chapter. This will be a different experience for me, but I am pretty excited to take this next step. I am not sure what I will be doing, but I am hoping that I will be able to work hard and persevere in such a competitive environment.

Hello All,
I am speaking to you as a very recent graduate from the University of California Santa Barbara and officially, a new member of the work world. I was very active in school, always busy, always working. Though I am continuing to work at something I truly enjoy, now that I have graduated, I find myself with a bit of free time. It is rather awkward. However, I have decided to continue to fill my life with movies, whether I am making them or watching them. Films have always had the potential to fill the void, or empty space, or just a fun afternoon with your friends. Though some consider sitting on the couch, watching a movie a lazy act, I disagree. Films always have some type of message, it could be incredibly profound or simply, “What I learned from that movie is not to make a movie like that!!, or, “If they can do that, then I surely will make it in Hollywood!”
