The following is a brief list of Warner Sisters exciting projects currently in development:

HOLLYWOOD BE THY NAME - THE WARNER BROTHERS STORY
A four-hour mini-series based on a book by Cass Warner. How four brothers built an empire on a dream and revolutionized Hollywood. For more details, see the Warner Sisters Home Page.

A SHADE OF GREY
An original screenplay by Jack Skinner. 1943. Walnut Grove, Oklahoma. A coming of age story for two best friends and their town. Two boys, one black and one white, hear the word "nigger" for the first time. They spend their summer learning what it means.
David Strathairn, Isaac Hayes and Lou Rawls attached; script and unpublished novel available.

THE HOME
An original screenplay by Jonathan Winters and Bill Davis. Featuring Jonathan Winters as one (or several) of the leading roles. A warm and funny story of a young-at-heart actor who is placed in a film-industry retirement home.

POOLHALL JUNKIES
An original screenplay by Mars Callahan. A brilliant Generation X ensemble piece with a message. THE COLOR OF MONEY meets DINER.
Script available.

THE COLDEST WAR
Unpublished novel by Howard Koch (co-writer of CASABLANCA, for which he received an Academy Award). An environmental CHINA SYNDROME.
Treatment and unpublished novel available.

THE GARDENER
An original screenplay by Howard Koch. A timely, touching and intriguing surrogate mother story.
Script available.

A RIDE ON THE MILKY WAY
A screen adaptation by Howard Koch based on the novel by Marguerite Dorian. A young woman's coming-of-age story. A fourteen year old girl is introduced to the magical world of aesthetics by a charming French puppeteer.

IN TIME TO COME
An original play by Howard Koch and John Huston. The true story of President Woodrow Wilson and his wife, Edith, who secretly took over his duties after her husband fell ill while fighting for world peace.

FOR THE CHILDREN
An autobiographical novel by Madeline Cartwright. The inspiring story of a principal who fights the bureaucracy of the state school board, inner city drug lords and apathetic parents by using innovative teaching methods, love and common sense to change a degraded system.

THE LAST ROMANTIC
An original screenplay by Jack Skinner. Realizing the art of romance is dying in America, the writer/husband of an up-an-coming actress walks across America to prove his love.

HOLDING ON
A unique Jack Skinner screenplay. A psychological twist occurs between a white jogger and a black mugger. This mugger picked the wrong jogger!

HOME
A Jack Skinner original screenplay. An ex-draft dodger returns to America as a philosophy teacher to pick up where he left off. Tyring to keep his integrity and stay within the "system," he finds himself once again having to stand up for what he believes in.

A MOTHER'S ORDEAL
A novel by Stephen Mosher. A mother fights back at China's one child law with the help of an American journalist. Together they change international law.
Treatment and book available.

THE JEANNIE TRAHANT STORY
The true story of an ex-heroin addict who has saved thousands of lives from drug addiction. Her dramatic story of hope and triumph.
Treatment being drafted.

DESERT FLOWERS
An eccentric, ex-mercenary living in the desert takes in an inner city kid who has been framed for the murder of a federal judge -- his soon-to-be father-in-law. A character driven story about friendship.

CRAZY LOVE
A romantic love story inspired by a true love between a moose and a cow -- proving anything can happen if you believe in miracles. Based on a true story.

SOUTHSIDE -- THE UNTOLD STORIES
An original half-hour TV series. Gritty and true to life -- but hopes and dreams still live here.

SINGLED OUT
A single mom with four children -- each from a different father. An American success story. Rich with characters, inevitable comedy and wonderful romance.
Original screenplay by Cass Warner; script available

O'REILLY'S RUN
One of the greatest true adventure stories in Australia's history: that of Bernard O'Reilly, the Queensland dairy farmer who, in 1937, risked his life in a race against time to save the lives of two plane crash survivors lost in the mountainous rainforest. A "Chariots of Fire"/what one man can do story written by Kathy Slevin.
