Once your nickname is registered, you need to join a channel to talk. For GEN, our main channel is #gen. Please note all channels start with a # sign. If you type /join gen, the Stratics server will reply that you are stupid and need to try again. To join the channel type /join #gen

	Another screen will open and you will now be sitting in a chat room with your guildmates. On the right is the nickname list, these are all the people in the channel, you will also notice some people have @s by their name. These people are known as channel operators and can kick/ban you from the channel. Other people might have +'s by their name which basically means nothing.
